Data comes from “Online Harassment, Digital Abuse and Cyberstalking in America,” a report produced by the Data & Society Research Institute and the Center for Innovative Public Health Research. The report is based on the results of a nationally representative survey of 3,002 Americans 15 and older conducted from May 17 through July 31, 2016. The survey did not include a question about gender identity and does not include experiences of transgender users.
